I'll hook back up with you on Monday and help you out. If you're still having trouble with this. As stated before, I can see the requests coming into my AdMob account. > However, I am not seeing the Admob ads being displayed on the Android screen in the emulator and my Android test phones as well. Manifest:Can you please try removing these lines of code and seeing if it works? It should. 11 I am trying to implement Admob in Android and I am seeing requests coming into AdMob. That's when the red line appeared and there was an error. If you've been waiting a super long time and it's still not working, then get back to me and I'll try and see if there is anything I can do when I get back on So I saw from your first screenshot that you got rid of the commented out parts under admob. I think it might just be taking a long time and you have to check over and over again before anything shows up. I think this could be part of your issue for iOS. I'm not sure exactly why admob was taking so long. This might be because they just didn't have an ad for me or it might be my region, because in certain regions they provide less ads. They straight up did not have one queued up for like 20 mins at least. It took a really, really long time for Admob to provide me with an ad. Let me address this with you I tested admob banners and interstitials on xcode and it worked, but there is one thing I noticed. Hi,If test ads are working there is no problem with your ads integration. I do think you can make it work at this point though. I want to check on this more and bring this up to the dev team on Monday. MainActivity: private AdView void onCreate(Bundle savedInstanceState) ) ĪdView = new AdView(this) //i create the adView programmatically but using the xml view element causes the same problemĪdView.Okay guys, so I did some major checking on this and there is definitely something a little fishy. Wait a couple more days and they should show up in your app, if you were able to see the example ones in the emulator. Please take a look at my code, I annotated it with explainations: 1 Answer Sorted by: 1 If they are your first ads and it has only been a couple of days since your publish, then it is normal not to see them yet. I tried to get this to work for over two days. I found more posts with similar issues (all from ~7 years ago) but none of their answers worked in my case:Īdmob not showing up until phone is lockedĪdMob won't show the banner until refresh or sign in to google plusĪndroid AdMob: addView doesn't show ad until return to activityĪdmob ads appear only after first refresh The number of impressions is about a third of the requests. Some people said 'this situation is possible because you did not publish your app for now'. Is it possible that AdMob can't find a matching ad even if I don't get any errors? According to the website the match rate is 98%. I tried many different things to simulate this in onAdLoaded. For example if I:Īll these actions trigger an update that somehow redraws/remeasures the views. Admob shows real ads if following conditions are met: See if you have added a payment method in admob console. I noticed that if the ad isn't showing and I put the app in the background somehow the ad starts to show. The AdListener even receives an call to onAdLoaded and I never get any error. I'm trying to put an AdMob banner into my app but half the time it doesn't show any content.
